Gather at Silver Park (near the Pavilion) at 9 a.m. We plan to arrive at the Clean Energy Expo at Caras at 10 a.m. We ask that you ride with your family and friend group, and practice Covid safety (wear a mask, bring your hand sanitizer). The bike ride is family friendly and will take place entirely on a protected bike lane - all abilities and speeds are welcome! Participants will receive a family climate action list for steps to take after the ride. Kids, and adults alike, might want to wear a superhero cape, bright costume, and/or fly a banner or sign proclaiming your commitment to protecting our Earth, and why! (And don’t forget your mask!) We also offer free helmets here at Free Cycles. These helmets tend to be lightly used and in good condition. We even have some new helmets in stock donated generously by St. Pat’s Brain Injury Prevention Program, who has helped us give 100 helmets to community members in need since May.
