Join me at Free Cycles in Missoula, Montana for a deep dive into the world of dyeing with mushrooms and lichens. We will talk about the history of using fungi for color, ethical harvest practices, identification resources, and testing for color while extracting a full spectrum of colors. We'll be using western species of mushrooms and lichens including specimens collected over the weekend at the mushroom dye campout field class.
At the end of the day, you will have a rainbow of samples, recipes, a hand-designed silk scarf, and the experience and resources you need to carry on your own experiments at home. This workshop includes all supplies.
Pre-registration is required. Sign up below to reserve your spot.

This is a part of a larger mushroom dye series that is going on that Labor Day weekend which you can also find on our FB and Alissa's website. There is an event at the Library on the 1st and our foray with additional event that weekend.
