Intro to Bikepacking with Casey Greene

Like mountain biking? Like bike touring? Like backpacking? Combine them! Loading up a bike with gear and heading into the woods is nothing new, but a resurgence in the sport has inspired gear and bikes specifically designed to make it easier, but the beauty is, you can do it on any bike, you just have to want to do it! Come by the shop for a seminar about this amazing way to explore public lands lead by local bikepacker and cartographer Casey Greene.

Casey is a long time cartographer for Adventure Cycling Association, and has had his photography and maps published in multiple national and international publications. He spearheaded and mapped the new ACA Idaho Hot Springs Bikepacking route, and has bikepacked hundreds of miles of Montana singletrack in some of our most beautiful and remote places.

Weather you want to learn how to properly load a mountain bike for an overnight in the Rattlesnake, or do a multi-day tour in the Great Burn, come by and check out a presentation, some of Casey's personal gear, and a Q&A session on Wednesday, March 23rd.
