The Missoula Model: An evolving proposal to create a safe, equitable, and environmentally sound transportation system


In Missoula, we are proposing to:

· Connect the bike lanes, trails and sidewalks

· Install single lane roundabouts

· Increase bus service

· Maximize use of renewable fuels

· Restore the train

· Enhance highways to better fit communities and landscapes

· Expand car share and bike share

 ·Turn one street in each neighborhood into a walking and biking priority street
